Pair of 1844 Cents graded AU50. Includes N-3 R2 Repunched 18 MDS (c) early with thin but clearly defined rim cud breaks at stars 8 & 9 and the 18 sharply repunched, and N-5 R1 Repunched 44 MDS (c) early with die cracks but no rim cud and clear repunching on the 44. Both coins are slightly sharper with minor defects: the N-3 has numerous tiny planchet chips on the obverse (as struck) and the N-5 has been lightly cleaned and very nicely retoned. Lot of 2 coins.
