1843 N-9 R3 Petite Head, Small Letters, Repunched Date EF45. Glossy medium reddish chocolate brown with slightly darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. The only notable marks are a thin vertical planchet chip or nick midway between star 1 and the chin and a subtle vertical streak of slightly darker steel toning between stars 6 & 7. LDS, die state c, with a narrow but clearly defined rim cud at star 11. Repunching is still visible on the 843.
