Lot 738
1839/6 N-1 R3+ Overdate 9 over 6 PCGS graded F15. Very attractive glossy medium chocolate brown and steel. Smooth and problem-free, just evenly worn. The only marks worthy of mention are a pinprick over the 8 and a tiny scratch under the C in AMERICA. EDS with an uncracked obverse. The overdate 9 over 6 (or inverted 9) is obvious. Our grade is VG10+, close to F12. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 11 finer.
