Lot 710

1835 N-1 R1 Head of 1834 with Large 18 & Stars VF30. Glossy medium chocolate brown and steel with slightly lighter frosty steel brown toning in protected areas. An attractive cent. The only notable marks are a faint spot of slightly darker toning in the center of the neck, a few tiny ticks in the field off the chin, and a horizontal nick at the bottom of the 8 in the date. MDS. The die crack at stars 3-13 is clear but the branch crack to the dentils between stats 11 & 12 has not formed. Stars 10-12 show some doubling from die bounce and the reverse is rotated 20 degrees CW.
Estimated Value $100-UP.

Realized $306
