Lot 649

1819 N-7 R4 VF20. Five points sharper but there are some minor contact marks scattered over both sides, none significant but a few too many to ignore. The notable marks are a pair of pinpricks over the second 1 in the date, a diagonal nick in the field before the lips and a diagonal nick over the upper right point of star 1. Glossy olive and dark steel brown. MDS with obvious die rust scattered over the reverse, as always on this tough die variety.
Estimated Value $200-UP.
Ex David Johnson 12/17/2011.

Realized $376
