1817 N-9 R2 PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Lustrous medium chocolate and steel brown with an uneven swipe of darker chocolate toning from the E in ONE to the U in UNITED. The notable marks are a minor planchet lamination at the dentils from star 3 to star 4, a faint hairline scratch on the cheek into the hair above the ear, and a trace of microscopic roughness in the dark area at the top of the E in ONE. Our grade is MS60 sharpness net AU55. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 4; 5 finer: 2 in 64, 3 in 66.
