1798 S-170 R3 Small 8, Style II Hair VF20. Five points sharper but there are a few light rim bruises on each side including a couple left of the hair ribbon. No roughness or verdigris. A very tiny planchet clip under the 17 (as struck) is the best identifying mark. E-MDS, before the die crack that arcs through the lower part of the hair ribbon. The reverse is rotated 25 degrees CCW from the normal head-to-foot die orientation.
