1798 S-164 R4 Small 8, Style I Hair, Off Center, PCGS graded G4. Slightly glossy medium chocolate brown and steel with somewhat lighter toning covering the devices. No defects, just worn. MDS with swelling at the 17 in the date. Struck 5% off center to K-11. The date is easily readable although the 17 is relatively weak thanks to the swelling in that area. Our grade is AG3+, very close to G4. The "Mint Error" status, "Struck 5% Off Center" feature, and the attribution are all noted on the PCGS label.
