1796 S-98 R4 Draped Bust G6. Mostly glossy chocolate brown with darker steel and olive brown toning in the fields and protected areas. No corrosion or verdigris, and the only marks are a few dull, light nicks on the upper part of the neck and jaw. The reverse is a few points sharper than the obverse, which is normal for many of the 1796 Draped Bust varieties due to the absence of a protective rim on the obverse. The bottom of the date is starting to flow into the rim but it remains easily readable. The legends on the reverse are complete and clear.
