1874-CC. PCGS graded AU-58. Nice reflective fields on both sides. Only 2,131 examples are estimated to have survived and this is one of the nicer examples, as noted in the figures to follow. Always popular for the Carson City mintmark. Liberty's face and cheek are satin smooth and show little more than a couple of tiny circulation marks. The reverse has the scarcer Type II design with the denomination noted as TWENTY D. which became spelled out after 1876. A prize for the astute collector!
