1800. BD-1, High Rarity 3. NGC graded MS-62. Lovely light gold toning with lots of luster. The strike is sharp and this is an early die state with only a minor light crack through the tops of LIBERTY. Considerable mint frost on the central devices and the fields are quite clean for the grade assigned. Only a handful of these exist in such lofty grades, and the vast majority show more handlng and circulation evidence. A regal coin that will be a centerpiece in any advanced set. Pop 16; 12 finer, 8 in 63, 3 in 64, 1 in 65. (PCGS # 8563) .
