1851-O. NGC graded AU-58 PQ. CAC Approved. Untoned and well struck. This one has the doubled date, with the 51 both showing repunching low. The strike is sharp on the obverse but a bit soft on the reverse, especially on the left thigh of the eagle which is blunt as nearly always seen. Still a scarce issue with no more a tiny fraction of the original mintage surviving. Almost mint state, with ample luster to please the eye. Pop 109; 43 finer at NGC. (PCGS # 7762) .
