1821 PCGS graded Genuine AU Details. Cleaning. Only 6,448 minted of which merely 40 to 60 examples are estimated to have survived. Some luster is still evident on this predominantly untoned piece and the surfaces show a few minor lines and nicks. This is a rare type coin that most collectors will never even see, let alone own an example of (PCGS # 7662) .
