Hutton, Barbara (1912-1979). Granddaughter to F.W. Woolworth, Hutton was the heiress to the retail chain's fortune. With an extravagant lifestyle, this "poor little rich girl" would marry seven times, counting Cary Grant as one of her husbands.
Inscribed Photo Signed ("Barbara"). Black and white photo-mechanical reproduction, 11 x 14", n.p., n.d. Inscribed in brown ink "To Carrie and Fabrice (?) / with all my love". With a few abrasions at upper center, light staining at lower left, and remnants of an adhesive along upper edge of verso. In very good condition overall.
In a regal portrait, the heiress appears with a distant gaze while wearing an elegant feathered hat.
