Snead and Trevino. Signatures. Lot of two signed Time Magazines, complete issues. Two of golf's great names, representing two different eras, are presented in this lot: Sam Snead and Lee Trevino. Both pieces show very slight edge wear but otherwise are in fine condition.
Snead's June 21, 1954, issue came out as he was preparing for the U.S. Open. The favorite, particularly after his dramatic Masters win the same year, Snead lost at the Open, the only major tournament he never won. Trevino's 1971 issue came the year he won the U.S. Open and the cover anoints him "Golf's New Superstar."
