Lichtenstein's Time Magazine Covers. Signatures. Lot of two Time Magazine covers signed by Roy Lichtenstein. Lichtenstein's May 24, 1968 Bobby Kennedy cover and his June 21, 1968 cover are signed by the artist in black ink. Both covers have been matted to an overall size of 11 x 14." There is a 1" tear that has been repaired at the far right edge of the Kennedy cover but otherwise both covers are in very good to fine condition.
An unsettling combination of Lichtenstein covers -- the Kennedy cover was issued less than two weeks before Bobby Kennedy was gunned down and the June 21, 1968, cover features "The Gun in America."
