Taylor, Elizabeth (b. 1932) American actress known for her beauty and her portrayals of volatile, vulnerable women. Taylor's personal life and multiple marriages were exceptionally well publicized and often tended to overshadow her acting career.
Signature ("Elizabeth Taylor"). Signed Time Magazine cover. Signed in blue ink. There is faint residue from the pink address label over the bottom left corner and minor abrasion at the bottom of the cover. The cover has been matted to 11 x 14" and is in very good condition.
In 1949, the year this cover was issued, Elizabeth Taylor was starring in Little Women and Conspirator and getting ready for Father of the Bride. This is a striking cover -- the indigo background sets off the starlet's eyes and, although only 17, she looks ready to begin her career as an adult star.
