Schulz, Charles M (1922-2000). Most widely syndicated cartoonist, best known for the lovable "Peanuts" strip. Based on characters in his own life, Schulz sketched and wrote each cartoon which ran in newspapers worldwide for over 50 years. The popular characters -- Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, and Charlie Brown -- have permeated popular culture and coined such phrases as "good grief" and "security blanket".

Signed Book. Snoopy and the Red Baron. New York: Holt, Rinehart and Winston, 1966, 64 pages, 5½ x 8½". Hard bound, housed in slipcase. Inscribed on front free end-paper. Light scuffing to upper and lower edges. In very good condition overall.

As Charles Schulz's first full-length novel, the lovable Snoopy fights the Red Baron while flying over France in World War One.
