Lichtenstein, Roy (1923-1997) American painter who was a founder and foremost practitioner of Pop Art, a movement that took images and techniques from popular culture. The first American painter to have work hung in London's Tate Gallery.

Signatures. Five Lichtenstein signatures. Three clipped signatures are matted with color reproduction prints ("The Melody Haunts my Reverie," "Flatten-- Sand Fleas!" "M-Maybe") and two signatures appear on prints ("Interiors" and "Picasso"). Items are matted in sizes from 13 x 11" to 15 x 12¼." All of the items in this lot are in very good condition.
Estimated Value $250 - 300.
Accompanied by a certificate from Christophe Stickel Autographs for the "Sand Fleas" piece.
