American Literary Figures. Group of three signed business and calling cards from American authors Jack London, H.L. Mencken, and Joaquin Miller. Each card is lightly toned, the Mencken card with rust from a paper clip and slight buckling along top edge. Otherwise the group is in good condition overall.
London's card clearly dates to his early career as a reporter, as the card lists the following newspapers at the lower left: New York Journal, New York American, Chicago American, San Francisco Examiner, and the Los Angeles Examiner.
