Comes with complete research from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, including award card, citation for this order, etc. Awarded to Hero of the Soviet Union Artillery Major-General Ratov A.I. by decree of 02/22/1944. According to research, at the time of awarding, general Ratov was serving as commander of 9th "Zaporozh" Artillery division, Breakthrough Reserve of the Supreme High Command, and received this award for his skillful command and organization of the offensive during the capture of the city of Zaporozh’e. Bestowed with title of Hero of the Soviet Union by decree of 02/21/1945.
