A 3-piece lot of Sasanian Signet Seals, ca. 5th Century AD. 1) A polished dark blue scaraboid seal. Flat part engraved with what appears to be a bird standing right. Pierced for suspension. Measures: 16.8 X 15.5 X 14 mm. 2) A polished agate scaraboid seal. Flat part engraved with a deer recumbent left, head right. Small chip missing from flat part, not affecting the image, otherwise intact. Pierced for suspension. Measures: 20 X 16 X 18 mm. 3) A polished milky white chalcedony scaraboid seal. Flat side engraved with the bust of slightly bearded a man left; hair pulled back into a bun; behind, arrow pointed downward. Pierced for suspension. Measures: 20.5 X 18 X17.5 mm.
