Treasure Trove of Early Checks From Palestine. Collection of over 75 Early Checks from Palestine. Almost all from the Anglo Palestine Company, beginning shortly after the start of the 20th century. Includes two 1906 check signed by Meir Dizengoff, a few years before he became Mayor of Tel Aviv; a check signed by Haim Kalvaryski, pioneer of Jewish settlements in Eretz Israel; checks signed by founders of Richon-Zion; and many more with Hebrew and English names that must be decoded. Almost all of these checks are remarkably in excellent condition, with punch cancellations and transaction stamps. Must be seen to be fully appreciated.
