Delightful 24 Kt Gold over Bronze Menorah by Acclaimed Israeli Artist, Basson. Noam Basson, celebrated Israeli artist known for his sculptures, drawings, jewelry and medals have been presented by Israel as official gifts to various nations including Basson's "Peace Sculpture" presented to Henry Kissinger as well as Jimmy Carter. Offered here is his limited edition "Kinetic Firebird Menorah" which is aptly titled. A hint of the firebird in the base design is readily apparent, but the movement comes in that the firebird base rotates, and each of the individual, multi-colored Dreidels, that each hold a candle, do as well. 24 K gold over bronze dazzles as well as the hand silkscreened, striped panels on the four sizes of all nine Dreidels. A stunning and contemporary Menorah for the Holiday. Slight evidence of use. Comes in protective custom designed suitcase that was evidently checked on board an airplane to bring to the US given the flight stamp tape residue on exterior. Fine.
