1803 S-258 R1 Large Fraction PCGS graded VF35. There is extremely faint roughness under mostly glossy dark chocolate brown and steel toning. The highpoints are a lighter shade of steel brown. Traces of shallow verdigris can be found nestled into protected areas on both sides. No marks or other distractions, and the eye appeal of this cent is excellent in spite of the minor imperfections. M-LDS Breen state III, with a fine die crack arcing up through the 1 and curls into the field under the hair ribbon. Our grade is VF35 sharpness net VF25. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label.
