1886. PCGS graded MS-64. A nice mostly untoned example. Its so hard to imagine a much finer example as collectors soon learn that Liberty eagles from this period rarely are found even approaching this grade! Here is one that has excellent fields and devices that show just a couple of trivial nicks from bag handling. Far and away finer than the majority, as noted in the Population data. Pop 7; 1 finer in 64+. (PCGS # 8708) .
