1945-60s Project Mercury Canary Island Tracking Station Materials. Interesting group of materials from the John Marlowe estate. Mr. Marlowe was telemetry supervisor at Canary Island Station. Includes 1945 Automatic Pilot training guide from US Naval School at Point Mugu complete with diagrams, four 8"x10" or 10"x7½" B&W photos taken in 1959-60 period depicting Mercury connected images including computer set up at Canary Island Tracking Station, original Canary Island Tracking Station reports and logs for July 1960, 1960 TAA-300 composite signal amplifier design report and five other paperwork items. We have not seen this type of material before.
