Television's BATMAN and The GREEN HORNET Signed Images. One of the all-time great phenomenon's of late 1960's televison was Batman starring Adam West as Batman and Burt Ward as Robin who both starred in 120 episodes (and one film) as the super crimefighting duo against more that 15 villains, many frequently portrayed by different actors and actresses. The duo are represented by one signed, 8" x 10" re-strike photo of Adam West and for Burt Ward, a nicely signed 8" x 10" fan magazine image signed boldly in Flair pen. But the rare piece in the collection is a vintage original 8" x 10" premium single-weight color portrait of Van Williams as The Green Hornet. Motivated by the success of Batman, ABC adapted the radio and movie serial and packaged the handsome Williams with the international sensation, Bruce Lee as Kato, but sadly lasted only one season. The photo of Williams is stamped on verso, "Mort Kaye Studios, New York, New York" and inscribed and signed "Always glad to steal for a friend, Van".
