Mickey Rooney - Rare Three Color Carbro Print by Acclaimed Photographer, James N. Doolittle. Mickey Rooney, nominated four times for an Academy Award and featured in over 250 films including several classic musicals co-starring Judy Garland. Offered here is a rare and youthful portrait of Rooney, a three color carbro portrait, actual image 10" x 13" overall photo 13½" x 16¾" laid to matte from likely the late 1930's, with photographer's label on verso. Also, Rooney autographed boldly at a later date the presentation matte in the lower border. James Doolittle's remarkable color work has been featured in numerous gallery and museum exhibitions and recognized as one of the fore runners of color photography in the fields of commercial portraiture, advertising and journalism. In excellent condition.
