Superb Collection of 8 Autographs of Legendary African American Entertainers, Many Quite Scarce. Remarkable collection of signatures from legendary African American entertainers. First a signed theatrical publicity postcard of Bill Robinson composed of four wonderful images of him with and inset saying "The Dark Cloud of Joy" inscribed and signed to "Little Lucille" a young dancer wishing her the best, signed and dated 9/25/26 a rare signature especially given the age and vintage postcard. Next a model release for a photography studio in New York City signed by Louis Armstrong, a card signed by the great Duke Ellington, a large leaf from an autograph book boldly signed by Nat King Cole, a card signed by B.B. King, a card signed by Fats Domino, a beautifully signed card by Cab Calloway, and finally a card dated March 19, 1982, clearly in difficult hand, from character performer, Lincoln Theodore Monroe Andrew Perry but known on stage, film and early television as Stepin Fetchit, a note of blessings and signed as Stepin Fetchit. A fantastic collection all in excellent condition.
