Jean Baptiste Bernadotte (1769-1844), French Revolution Marshal appointed by Napoleon who,in 1818, was elected King of Sweden (Charles XIV John) and Crown Prince of Norway (Charles III John). Document signed ("J B Bernadotte") as Marshal, 1 page, folio, Headquarters Hanover, c. 1804-1814. Being a military appointment for Captain Gustavé of the Fifth Regiment of Hussards. Strong bold signature. Documents have some age toning and light staining but overall are in very good condition.
