Coolidge, Grace. Autograph letter signed, 2½ pages, 6¾ x 5½ in., recto & verso, Northampton, Mass., May 9, 1935. To Henry L. Stoddard, editor of The New York Evening Mail. The former First Lady asks Mr. Stoddard for his advice regarding publishing of some personal articles: " …I found the small part which I had in preparing the articles interesting. Now, comes the question of preserving them in the more available form of a book…I feel that your advice will be more helpful than any and I trust that you will be perfectly frank…" Age toned with minor stains. Small paper tear on bottom right edge of first and third pages.
