Lincoln, Abraham - Orotone Portrait. Gold-toned print of a handsome 49-year-old Lincoln, 10 x 8 in., framed to an overall size of 13 x 11 in., copyright by L. K. Dewein, Los Angeles, Ca. Mr. Dewein has attached to the back of the frame a brief printed history of the original negative made in 1858 by photographer H.H. Cole of Peoria and Pekin, Illinois. Mr. Dewein states that Mr. Cole personally presented the negative to him.
