Johnson, Lyndon B. Typed letter signed as Congressman, 1 page, on Congress of the United States / House of Representatives" letterhead, 10½ x 8 in., Washington, Jan. 31, 1939. To a constituent, giving the full LBJ treatment: "As soon as your letter…arrived I contacted the Bureau of Fisheries…and requested an application for you….I appreciate your making it possible for me to do this small favor for you and I want you always to feel that when there is some service I can perform for you, all you have to do is let me know about it…." Fine.
