Hayes, Rutherford B. Executive Mansion card signed (" R B Hayes") as President, 2½ x 4¼ in., Washington, no date. Signature ink slightly faded and age toned. Matted with two large Commemorative Presidential bronze medals; two printed portraits of the President; a small vintage campaign pin; three commemorative stamps; a printed, decorative vintage 1876 Republican Ticket campaign flyer; an 1877 House of Representatives Gallery admittance ticket (needed to witness the Presidential vote count on February 8, 1877); a printed quote from Hayes' 1877 Inaugural Address ("He serves his party best who serves his country best"); and a brief printed Hayes biographical timeline. Handsomely framed to an overall size of 18½" x 27". Very good condition.
