Clinton, William Jefferson and George H. W. Bush. Restaurant guest check signed on the verso by the 41st and 42nd Presidents, no place, no date. The Clinton and Bush families became close when former Presidents Clinton and Bush worked together on a number of important issues and charitable initiatives. They were jointly awarded the 2006 Philadelphia Liberty Medal for their work on the Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund and Bush-Clinton Tsunami Fund. This restaurant check was doubtlessly presented to the two Presidents to sign as they ate in a coffee shop. In 2010, Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush created the Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund to aid victims of the Haiti earthquake. In an appearance together, Clinton commented that they used to get approached in coffee shops for autographs, but everyone wants a "selfie" today.
