Hearst, William Randolph. Autograph quotation signed, 1 page, 10¾ x 7¾ in., no place, no date. The quotation, inscribed "To Miss Cobina Wright," says: "Of Nature's gifts thou mayest with lilies boast / And with the half blown rose." He adds, "So said Shakespeare and so enthusiastically repeats William Randolph Hearst." The quotation is from Shakespeare's "The Life and Death of King John," Act III, Scene I. Paper is lightly soiled, with file holes at left margin. Boldly penned and signed.
