North African Red-Ware Christogram Oil Lamp, ca. 4th-5th Century AD. An oil lamp depicting a Chi-Rho christogram, embellished with a floral and geometric pattern, in the discus, and arrow design around neck; knob handle and two filling holes. Shows some ancient use. Choice condition. Completely intact and free from repairs. One of the finest we have seen. Measures: 14.5 X 8.5 cm.
