Reinhold Merkelbach Grenzhausen Wedding Stein. Vintage Reinhold Merkelbach Grenzhausen beer stein. The Reinhold Merkelbach pottery was founded in 1845 in the Westerwald town of Höhr-Grenzhausen. that produced many collectible beer steins. One liter stein measuring 12" x 5" with pewter lid, stamped on bottom by maker with beautiful, raised, hand painted details including two cupid celebrating a wedding as indicated by script. Pewter lid has some minor dings. Fine.
