Arthur Trevor Haddon (1864-1941), British painter and illustrator who indeed traveled extensively, primarily Spain, Italy, and California which dramatically influenced his art. Offered is a beautiful painting signed as Trevor Haddon RBA likely from the early 1900s of women toting water in large clay pitchers. Exquisitely rendered detail in the in the fabrics, lovely faces and a wonderful perspective of the cobbled street. Canvas measures 30" x 20" framed to 38" x 33" and in excellent condition with a heavily oxidized brass name plate in frame due to age.
