Worldwide, 1930s-40s, the Joseph Oppenheimer correspondence. Interesting archive with 60 covers, forms and documents principally addressed to Mr. Oppenheimer or his wife in France, mostly documenting his avoidance of transport to "final destination" during the Holocaust. Includes 19 cards from a friend who was a prisoner at the SOSNOWITZ camp (in occupied Poland). Historic offering. Condition varies as expected.
