1914-D. PCGS graded MS-64 Red & Brown. PQ. A very nice coin. Key date with a mintage of 1,193,000 pieces. These were released into circulation with little fanfare so few were saved. Hence their desirability when a flashy near gem appears like this offering. Make sure to examine its charms before the auction, as you may want to raise your bid. Pop 230; 52 finer, 4 in 64, 47 in 65, 1 in 65+. (PCGS # 2472) .
Estimated Value $5,000 - 5,500.
