Ptolemaic Kingdom. Ptolemy VIII Euergetes II. AR Tetradrachm (13.92 g), 145-116 BC. Salamis, regnal year 33 (138/7 BC). Diademed bust of Ptolemy I right, wearing aegis. Reverse: BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΠTOΛEMAIOY eagle standing left on thunderbolt; in left field, date LΛΓ; in right field, mint mark ΣA. SNG Copenahagen 577 (same dies); Svoronos 1543. Attractively toned and excellent silver. NGC graded AU*; Strike: 5/5, Surface: 4/5.

We note that the NGC description attributes this coin to the incorrect regnal year.
