1794 C-8 R5 Small Edge Letters VG10. Several points sharper but there are areas of microscopic roughness on both sides, strongest at UNIT and over the E in AMERICA. No verdigris. Only minor contact marks consistent with the grade. Recolored glossy light olive and medium chocolate brown. The date is bold and the legends are clear except for those at the bottom of the reverse thanks to that side being badly misaligned in that direction. The obverse is nicely centered on the planchet. LDS Manley state 2.0. The radial die crack through the second T in STATES is very strong and it extends down through the wreath. Weight 102.2 grains.
