1821 N-2 R1 NGC graded MS62 Brown. Glossy chocolate brown with lots of lighter brown toning in the protected areas on both sides. The toning may not be original but it is attractive. There is a pinprick on the chin near the throat and a thin planchet lamination slanting through the eye, neither mark visible without the aid of a strong glass. M-LDS. The die line from the bust tip is gone but there is no hint of crumbling in the dentils between stars 6 & 7. Our grade is AU50.
