1819 N-8 R1 Small Date PCGS graded MS62 Brown. Frosty olive brown and chocolate with underlying reddish steel faded down from mint color in protected areas on the reverse. No spots, stains, or contact marks. Just a bit darker tone than normal for a mint state cent. Sharply struck EDS with a sharp die line connecting the bases of the A & second T in STATES. Most likely from the famous Randall Hoard of mint state cents discovered shortly after the end of the US Civil War. Our grade is MS60. The "Small Date" feature is noted on the PCGS label.
Estimated Value $250-UP.
