1794 C-5a R4+ Small Edge Letters VF25. Sharpness VF35 but there is a vertical scratch on the upper half of the neck and a diagonal scratch in the field before the face. Both scratches are old and blend perfectly into the attractive glossy medium chocolate brown toning. Otherwise the only marks are a small dent close under the left edge of the eye and a spot of darker chocolate toning over the first A in AMERICA. Sharply struck EDS Manley state 1.0, without any die clashmarks on the obverse. The reverse is rotated 35 degrees CW. Weight 108.8 grains.
