1794 C-1a R3 Large Edge Letters VF30. Sharper by at least 5 points but there are a few light contact marks on otherwise choice, attractive surfaces. The notable marks are a tiny rim bruise at the L in LIBERTY, an old pin scratch from the A in HALF to the N in CENT, and a couple faint hairlines at OF. Attractive glossy medium chocolate brown with some lighter brown toning in protected areas on the reverse. LDS, Manley state 3.0, showing strong die clashmarks on both sides. The reverse is rotated 20 degrees CCW. Weight 110.7 grains.
