1799. B-11, BB-161, Rarity 3. NGC graded MS-63. Tied with perhaps two or three others as the second finest for the die variety and a coin which is one of the nicer examples to come down to us of the type or date. Precious few Draped Bust dollars remain in mint state at all, especially so for choice coins. As nearly always found on this particular die pairing, there is a sharp die crack on the reverse just touching the D of UNITED and extending toward the eagle's neck. An exceptional opportunity for the advanced specialist to secure a memorable example of this type. Nicely toned. Pop 2; none finer at NGC for the variety.
