1885. NGC graded Proof 67 Ultra Cameo. Fully white and boldly struck. While the Superb quality of the surfaces is already memorable and one of the finest seen of this scarce Proof issue, it is the Ultra Cameo contrast which propels this coin into the extraordinary category. Only a few examples of these early Proofs offer such strong contrast of the devices against the reflective fields. Any collector lucky enough to obtain an Ultra Cameo Proof as designated on this coin, will have a lifetime of enjoyment. Only 930 struck. Pop 3; 1 finer in 68.
